Fleet Manager

Your vehicles are assets too.

Buses, vans, mowers, forklifts and plows usually live in a separate spreadsheet. They should not. Fleet Manager brings them into the same maintenance discipline as everything else.

Not built yet. Fleet Manager is designed but not released. Everything below describes what it is intended to do, not what you can use today. Maintenov currently ships Work Manager only.

01

Service on schedule

Mileage and engine hours drive maintenance, not somebody remembering.

Mileage and hour-based PMs

Schedule service by odometer reading, engine hours or calendar - whichever comes first.

Odometer capture

Readings entered at fuelling, at inspection or by telematics feed keep schedules accurate automatically.

Service history per vehicle

Complete record of every service, part and cost for the life of the vehicle.

Warranty and recall tracking

Know what is still covered and get alerted when a recall applies to units you own.

In-house and vendor work

Track work done in your shop and at outside garages in the same history.

Downtime tracking

Measure how long each vehicle is out of service and what it cost you to be short.

02

Stay compliant

Inspections and documentation that hold up when somebody asks for them.

Pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Digital inspection forms completed on a phone, with defects creating work orders instantly.

Regulatory inspection scheduling

Annual safety inspections, emissions testing and certifications tracked with advance reminders.

Driver assignment

Know who had which vehicle when, which matters for both incidents and accountability.

Licence and certification tracking

Monitor driver credential expiry before somebody drives without a valid licence.

Incident recording

Log accidents and damage with photographs, linked to the vehicle and driver record.

Audit-ready export

Produce inspection and maintenance documentation on demand for regulators or insurers.

03

Control fleet cost

Fuel, parts, labour and depreciation per unit - so replacement decisions are numeric.

Fuel tracking

Log fuel by transaction or card feed and monitor efficiency per vehicle over time.

Total cost of ownership

Acquisition, fuel, maintenance and downtime combined into one figure per unit.

Replacement analysis

Identify the point where a vehicle costs more to keep than to replace, with the numbers to prove it.

Utilisation reporting

Find the units that barely move - the easiest fleet savings you will ever make.

Parts integration

Vehicle parts draw from the same Inventory Manager stockrooms as everything else.

Capital plan feed

Fleet replacement flows straight into Capital Planner alongside buildings and equipment.

Questions

Straight answers.

Yes. Mowers, forklifts, generators, tractors and trailers are all supported, scheduled on engine hours rather than mileage where that makes more sense.

Yes. Odometer and engine-hour feeds from common telematics providers keep service schedules current without manual entry, via integration or the API.

No. Drivers completing inspections use a free limited-access account. Paid seats are only for technicians and administrators.
